2017 Year end update! (What YOU should expect for 2018 here!)

Its been a whole year.

Time really flies by faster than I thought.

To everyone who continuously supports me - a big THANK YOU TO YOU GUYS! I know I haven't been updating this site for some time and I am really sorry but as we move forward to 2018 I promise to write more.

So what have I been up to this 2018?

For the first part, I was in Ozamiz City for the first quarter of the year which actually was one of the best things I have done that year. I was able to travel to this amazing place called Mindanao but mostly just got around Northern Mindanao.

It was an amazing experience but I think my homesickness got into me and I went back to Manila.

But before heading back to Manila, me and the TBDC Fam went to Cebu.

It was a short stay but it was an amazing experience. I never thought I would be seeing that amazing city which made me realize that Cebu is pretty much like Manila in some aspects but has fewer highways than we have here. Don't judge me okay?

As I got back here in Manila I started a business - which made me very busy because of the renovations. The cost of the renovations almost made me bankrupt but luckily we were able to survive.

And as the months go by, I suddenly faded into the scenes because of my business. I actually forgot that I had a blog at one point because I was so fixated in growing my business.

Yet again, this made me hate having my business because Alice was all work but no means of having a time to enjoy something.

Little by little, I went back to reading articles on the internet and then back to my youtube binge (which is super weird now as I write this) and

I can't be the same Alice that would be super dedicated in making each and every article as perfect as possible because let's be real - your girl can't be perfect even if I sell my soul to the God of the Underworld.

I can't promise to upload everyday, but I can promise to upload meaningful articles from now on.

I want this little spot on the internet be a way for us to communicate and express ourselves. I initially made this blog to express myself and now its time for me to hear your voices.

I will be doing more product reviews as always and the usual Kpop fandom here and there. There will also be a section I will dedicate for all the young ones there that are still figuring everything out.

One blog series I will be making is my mindful journal. This I will have to commit to update everyday. I will be doing an online journal of my life as I am more comfortable typing mindlessly until all thought in my head just disappear.

I hope all of you girls are having an amazing new year ahead!

and also I'm sorry this post doesn't have pictures. I will try to add some pictures once I get myself all set for 2018. I will be terribly busy in the bakery for sure today since a lot of people will be asking for sliced bread and buns all day. I will have to remind myself that I need to chill sometimes.

My stress levels are so high I don't know how I am still functioning as a normal human being!

Besides from that I will have to go now. This post is getting too long already I don't want you to be bored.

Love you guys and girls and Happy New Year!

Much Love

Christmas Lighting Ceremony turns on the Holiday Cheer at Theater Mall and Promenade

One of the things I look forward to every Christmas season is the Christmas lighting display of
different establishments in the metro. Its a much awaited tradition for every shopper and at the Promenade and Theater Mall that officially kicks off Christmas in this part of Greenhills.

Enlivened by the presence of stars and entertainment personalities, the tradition began in 2008, the 20th year of the Music Museum, when German "Kuya Germs" Moreno invited stars like Gloria Romero to join him in providing Christmas cheer and dazzle at the ceremony. Through the years, young stars like Barbie Forteza, Bea Binene, Jake Vargas, Hero Angeles and Ken Chan joined Kuya Germs in spreading Christmas Cheer to shoppers and mall goers at the Promenade.

The celebrities assemble at the site of the Christmas Switch, put their hands together and press the switch. Immediately, the bright lights of Christmas start to shine all over the place. It's as if the stars of the entertainment world lend their sparkle to the Holiday look.

This year, stars of hit television show Meant To Be Ken Chan, Jak Romero and Barbie Forteza, including Mark Manicad and John Nite carried on the tradition begun by Kuya Germs. At the flick of the switch, the Christmas lights inside and outside the mall and on the Christmas tree came alive in a blaze of big and little lights, punctuated by transparent Pinoy Parols deftly put together by resident artist Francis Dano-Og.

The Christmas Lighting ceremony was led by Music Museum Group President Precy M. Florentino and other MMG Officials. It will touch off engaging Christmas activities at the mall highlighted by a Christmas Bazaar at the Missouri area that will go on till December 31.

The dining, shopping and entertainment enclave is best known for its popular performance venues, The Music Museum and Teatrino, its state of the art Greenhills Cinemas that pioneered the Dolby Atmos Sound Technology, and its lively mix of shops and restaurants.

The MMG president recalled how Christmas lights are a traditional part of the Christmas celebration and how parols - The traditional Filipino symbols of Christmas - lit the way for country folk on their way to Simbang Gabi.

" We want to show that the Christmas spirit of hope and joy are forever alive in us. We want these Christmas lights to provide hope and cheer to our surroundings. Pinoy Christmasses are always bright," Ms. Florentino said.

So make sure to enjoy your holiday celebrations and bonding time at The Promenade and Theater mall this Yuletide season!

Asian Aesthetic Center: Freeze and Melt Fat Away Permanently

Is it possible to freeze and melt fat away? This is one big question that we attempt to solve but first we must understand how body fat functions in our body.

Body fat as defined in many books is categorized as adipose tissue which is a normal component of the human body. Its primary purpose is to store energy in the form of fat that is then needed for metabolic functions within the body. However, having excess body fat can be physiologically harmful and at the same time can negatively affect one’s appearance. Thus the idea of the possibility to melt fat away comes to mind when all else failed.

Can body fat be destroyed?

Unfortunately, fat cells are indestructible since our body has a constant number of fat cells that will remain in our lifetime. However, fat cells can be reduced or shrink in size through various methods like freeze and melt fat away.

You see, when people lose weight their fat cells are also reduce in size but the body will signal the need to rebuild the shrunken fat cells thus the tendency to gain more weight after slimming down is higher. This is when frustration about getting rid of body fat comes into place. This is when most people would give up the fight against being overweight and obesity. However, there is a way to melt fat away through an effective method that Asian Aesthetic Center can best provide.

What is Melt and Freeze The Fat Away?
Asian Aesthetic Center (ACC) has an effective method to slim down the body and face which can melt fat away. It is so good that ACC’s co-founder Dra. Amy Bautista has registered a trademark for “Melt and Freeze The Fat Away”.

Melt and freeze the fat away is a non-invasive procedure that slims down and will melt fat away permanently. This exclusive procedure of Dra. Amy Bautista of Asian Aesthetic Center incorporates the utilization of both controlled heat and freezing technique that will effectively melt fat away for good. As the fat cells self-destruct, it will eventually die then gradually be eliminated naturally from the body. So far, this is an effective and safest fat elimination procedure in the Philippines today that Asian Aesthetic Center can best provide.

Asian Aesthetic Center Unique Approach to Beauty

With Dra. Amy Bautista as the medical director and founder, she incorporates a personal approach in dealing with each client. Being born with artistic talent, at a very young age, she has master anatomy specifically facial and body symmetry which she as a professional medical doctor who specialized in aesthetics integrate on all Asian Aesthetic Center slimming and beauty procedures.
Being true to the fact that each person is born differently with unique set of facial/body features, Asian Aesthetic Center ‘freeze and melt fat away’ high-tech and effective fat melting treatment conforms to each individual bodily structure.
Asian Aesthetic Center adheres to the philosophy that each client deserves a tailor-made treatment that would provide natural results. Dra. Amy Bautista list of patients at ACC come up looking naturally beautiful with slimmer waist, sleeker thighs, toned arms, lesser facial lines and even with firmed well-defined chin and neck. This is what the exclusive trademarked ‘melt and freeze the fat away’ can do to anybody who wishes to become naturally good looking with youthful features.
Have you ever thought of getting rid of your body fat for good? Have you ever wonder if there is a way to melt fat away? Like many Asian people, we Filipinos are prone to storing fats in our bodies and these fatty deposits get into areas that we are not most proud of.

Asian Aesthetic Center can help and with Dra. Amy Bautista around, you can surely freeze and melt fat away. Schedule a FREE consultation with Dra. Amy Bautista now and be in your best form just in time for Christmas.

Come and visit their website at

Relaxation at Jasmine Therapeutic Spa.

One of the luxuries a girl can have is a good massage. A massage can be very beneficial to your body since it eases out the tension in our muscles and also improve blood circulation. I actually have tried out a new place in Fairview so if you are near SM Fairview/Lagro area, I got you covered okay?

Jasmine Therapeutic Spa is not just your ordinary spa because its therapists are certified pros at this. They do recommend you the best service for your needs. I was able to try their full body massage with hot stone and also their foot reflexology and express massage. But the one I liked the most is their full body massage with hot stones and also Ventosa because they use bamboo cups unlike the typical glass that is used for that procedure.

Those were the best massages I have gotten in my life!

One thing also that Jasmine Therapeutic Spa offers is that they have their own custom services that can help your health to improve like an ear spa and nose spa. They do have a daytime rate and night time rate. Although the prices may vary, they actually are worth every cent.

Jasmine Therapeutic spa also offers home service but there is an additional fee for the transportation of the therapist. Overall my experience was exceptional, I will go back here although it is quite far from my place but its definitely worth it because the therapist will give you the most relaxing massage you will ever experience.

Jasmine Therapeutic Spa is located along Bristol St. in Fairview, Q.C.

Atienza Naturale: Wonders of Malunggay in a Capsule!

I remember as a child hearing the word Malunggay as my cousin's nickname and also a vegetable we usually when there is Tinola for dinner. I never actually researched the health benefits of this vegetable and I was surprised that it contained Vitamin A, B-Vitamins and minerals such as calcium and iron.

I was able to know this when I attended an event of Atienza Naturale. They actually produce Malunggay capsules that is very beneficial to your health.

Besides from the things I mentioned earlier, Moringa Oleifera which is the scientific name of Malunggay also has high content of potent antioxidants which can also diminish wrinkles and fine lines due to aging, this can also prevent an onset effect of various chronic disorders such as arthritis, cancer, kidney and cardio vascular diseases.

Me and some bloggers that attended the event had the opportunity to meet one of the owners of Atienza Naturale, Ms. Chi  Atienza and also Dr. Rainier Mozo which shared to us some things about the effects of Malunggay that can help us live longer.

Of course we were also given some of the malunggay capsules to try ourselves. I have already started drinking the capsule last Sunday but one of the effects I've noticed is that since I drink the capsule before a meal, my metabolism has changed a bit.

One thing that I should add as well to this is that the Maluggay capsule is all natural, from the components to its capsule which is a vegetable based capsule which doesn't harm the liver the longer you take this.

I will do a review on the capsules soon by the end of the month to share my thoughts with you guys.
You can purchase Atienza Naturale Malunggay Capsules at any drugstore in the market!

For more information you can check out Atienza Naturale on their social media accounts.

Robinson's Supermarket Indoor Cycling Challenge

One of the things I did prior to being a full time blogger is to bike. I am not the best to be honest, but the health benefits of cycling if you want to lose weight is tremendously effective.

I used to do outdoor cycling so I decided why don't I try indoor cycling. It was really out of my comfort bubble but its worth a try right?

I am really thankful to be part of Robinson Supermarket's Indoor Cycling Challenge for their North Luzon leg that was held in Robinson's in Pampanga.

The event wasn't just the challenge itself but there were also other activities the attendees can enjoy like food tasting, playing kinect and wii games, a photobooth, and also free nutrition council by a certified nutritionist.

The whole challenge consists of an exercise round in which you get used to the cycling for about 15 minutes and a competition round that is for 20 minutes.

The cycling round was a little intense already for me because I didn't know that you can do a push up which cycling! Honestly that was crazy.

Then the competition round. Initially, I didn't really plan on joining because my legs were a bit jelly from the first round but then why the heck not right? Its an experience of a lifetime so why not do it.
And the twenty minutes was actually easier since the only basis is the farthest distance.

Here is a tip I can give you - Watch a Kpop related video to keep your adrenaline pumping so you can cycle faster.

I was actually watching some BTS videos while cycling because it was crazy!

But if you are not like me when it comes to cycling, there will be music pumping you up.

I actually did well for someone who is on the chubby side. For a twenty minute cycling session I was able to reach about 11 KM. That is a big deal for me since its been a while since I last used a bicycle.

If you are interested to join, make sure to check Robinson Supermarket's Facebook page for the next leg!

If you have been a reader / follower you know already how much I love spotify. Ever since I discovered that app, it has been a match made in heaven!

Spotify makes my life so much great with all the music in the world I can listen to.

I know its quite weird to say it but without spotify in my day it is simply not the same.

I will try to make a playlist favorites soon here and also on my youtube channel so just give me some time to compose the perfect playlist that will tell you more about me.

Seriously I have TONS of songs on my spotify library I need to sort them out.

365 days of Happiness Challenge Day 6: Coffee

Glad that is out of the way.

So currently I have noticed that there are some scents I am drawn into when I need to chill.

One of them is the scent of coffee. If you have been a reader for the longest time you know that I am such a coffee lover that I just can't get enough of the scent of it.

Being broke as of the moment, I can only drink instant coffee which sucks to be honest because its not the real thing.

One thing I am grateful for is my friend Jaiden that just saved me from a runt the other day when he treated me for coffee because we need to discuss some topics for an upcoming video.

And guess what - He asked me to have a meeting in a coffee shop!

My goodness my nose was in heaven inside that coffee shop and he actually laughed because I was like a child inside a toy store because of all the coffee they have displayed I was gonna cry any moment because it was really amazing just to smell freshly grind coffee.

And I think that is one of the things I am happy about - Coffee!

I am happy to smell it and to taste it.

I am not a connoisseur of coffee but I appreciate the taste. Its not just like any other drink out there.

And again Thank Jaiden for the treat because I really needed to get out of the house for that meeting. I felt like a new person after that meeting. I know its crazy but I just do!

Is it just me that experience this? Let me know if coffee makes you happy too! or any drink actually.

What drink makes you happy on the inside?

Much Love!

365 days of Happiness Challenge Day 5: Midnight Breeze

I am a nocturnal person. I find solace in the midnight breeze as much as the sunshine makes me smile when I wake up early.

Which is weird because there are days that I prefer the midnight breeze when I walk outside to inspire me. And another thing is I am terrified of the dark, but I find tranquility in how the breeze makes me feel safe.

And I think the midnight breeze makes me happy. It makes me smile to feel the breeze and just...feel alive.

I am currently stumped with a lot of backlogs of events I went to so you might see some event posts up after this.

I also have reviews I have yet to post so please bear with me.

Much Love!

I have always said that sometimes we need to stop and just enjoy the sunshine - and its true! There was an article I read about the sun and making your endorphin go up.

So once in a while I just like to enjoy the sun even if I am in the city.

That actually makes me happy sometimes - sunshine!

Its sounds so weird saying that but it is true. Whenever I am just chillin on my own, I prefer seeing rays of sunshine because it reminds me of rays of hope trying to reach you.

When I was younger, me and my family lived in this house where we had huge windows and my mom had to put curtains to cover it sometimes. What I would usually do is just open it a little bit and just look at it. I was really young back then and my mother didn't showered me with toys to play but encouraged me to explore around the house and use the whole space as a play area.

My parents were radical beings so don't be surprised if I raised my kids one day like that.

My mom actually  caught me one time just lying on the floor letting the rays hit me on my chest and asked me what I was doing, I told her I was ingesting the rays with my body. Mind you I was 7 years old at that time so my mom just shaked her head and told me to get up.

I am a terribly weird kid and up until this day I still am weird.

I just love the sunshine and it makes me smile. It may sound weird and someone crazy might say but I honestly do like the sunshine.

Just don't ask me if I love it after 10 am because those are not sunshine anymore, those are death rays from the sun.

Much Love

365 days of Happiness Challenge Day 3: Movies

I never thought how much of a movie buff I am when recently I went through the collection of movies I have watched online.

Being broke at the moment says a lot about it too because I don't really have that much money to have the luxury of watching a movie at the cinema house because I would rather spend my hard earned money on utilities than see a one hour plus long movie.

Most of the movies I've watched are also interesting.

Most of them are RomComs because obviously I am a girl and with the idealistic mind that one day I might meet my one true love in this circumstances, but also being half the realist/ bitter person that I am, there is only a 9.9999999% it won't happen.

The others are a mix of comedy, horror, and surprisingly enough some action was mixed in. The action ones are mostly inspired by my Papa because he loved movies that involved a bit of Bond and some other guy I forgot the name.

There was one common denominator with these movies though that I liked about. It reminded me of someone that I love.

There was this Thai movie that I kept watching over and over. It is the movie Crazy little thing called love, the one where I first met Mario Mauer (God he is such a cutie)

This movie reminded me one a man I really love back when I was in highschool. He tried pursuing a relationship with me, but I wasn't really emotionally ready. I didn't lead him on or anything, I really enjoyed his company and I always looked forward to seeing him.

But one day he just disappeared.

From time to time I still think of Joey, that's his name. I remember specifically the times he would come with me and just hang out. I really enjoyed his company and I really liked him. But I guess our destiny were not meant to be.

The good memories are still there and that is what makes me smile. Mario Mauer actually reminds me of Joey from time to time and the memories come back. Maybe that's why I keep watching that movie - Because I don't want to forget that one time in my life there was a guy named Joey that made me feel something in my heart.

If ever Joey does sees this post, I would just like to let you know that I am thankful I met you. I don't know if there might be another chance for us because its been a long time since we last talked. I still live in the same neighborhood but our neighborhood has changed a lot since you left. I do miss you and I wish to see you again.

Movies makes me smile because it reminds me of people I love. Joey is one of them.

Much Love

365 days of happiness Day 2: Writing

I remember when I was younger the very first thing I wanted to learn was to write.

When I started to write, I loved every bit of it. Now that I am older, I just remembered that and it made me smile.

Writing makes me happy. Maybe that is why I started blogging. I loved writing anything I think of, all the ideas and thoughts I have.

It made me live to write things I love, things I cherish and those that I want to do.

I remembered writing all the things I want to do before I reach 30 on a page of a notebook. I don't remember everything that is in there because it was a long time ago, but writing them down made me remember something - writing is my passion.

I started blogging to take my mind off things in my life. Then it evolved in trying to make money out of it.

I would admit that I went on a downward spiral of being hooked in monetizing my writing to earn money, it was basically easy money. But then I woke up crying because writing materials I don't like made me lose my motivation in writing.

Then that was when I stopped writing. I hated the thought of it. I became scared seeing the screen of my computer and even holding a pen and paper.

It made me sick.

I just realized the other day that the reason I became a blogger was to influence people with what is in my mind - not to what was fed to me to write.

It made me wake up to that reality that maybe if I don't earn from this, it would still be my profession, my passion and my life.

I will keep writing till my fingers hurt because even if they bring pain, the happiness it gives me will still be there.

Much Love

365 Days of Happiness Challenge

Its been a while since I wrote a really personal post on this blog. The reason for that is nobody really reads my blog anymore and I have lost my interest in speaking my mind.

Nobody will care anyway.

But then one day it hit me - I have become the thing I didn't want, an empty shell with no happiness.

I've lost my sense of happiness and I want to get it back. and I am starting today.

For the next 365 days I will find my happiness. The thing that makes my heart beat and makes me smile even if the whole world is dim in front of me.

If you see this post, you may disregard it as just another 20 somethings search for the inevitable but what the hell.

Each day I will be post something that made me happy. It may be a simple text, emoji or simply the sky.

I want to see that Alice that doesn't give a single fuck what the world thinks about her - because she is the only boss bitch she needs to keep moving up.

Join me in finding happiness. Who knows you might find yours here too.

Much Love.

John is All Set for Mr. Gay World

Last April 24, 2017 at Club 690 in Quezon City was the invitational send-off press conference of Mr. Gay World Philippines John Raspado to Mr. Gay World 2017 which will take place with the attendance of pageant and showbiz media alike.

Your girl wasn’t there but I would like to share my support for our bet for the coveted title.

As all the bases are covered in the preparations of John Raspado before leaving for Madrid, Spain next week it’s a great news that he is in the lead in the popularity voting section of the competition. But still even if he is in the lead, it would be great to show our support by continuously voting for him.  As he is also gunning the award for best in Social Media.

If you want to show your support you can click HERE to vote for him!

I would like to wish John Raspado the best of luck in the competition in Madrid that will be this coming May 5-10 2017.

Much Love!

Beauty Finds at a click of a button with Sephora PH!

Since I am back in Manila, I want to share to you girl a quick haul I had with Sephora Philippines!

Take note that I ordered these when I was still in Mindanao to check if they have really good service and I would say its far from what I expected.

I purchased some Burt's Bees products since I have been curious to try out a lot of their items.

I ordered these about 2 weeks ago, and the package arrived a week later - It was that fast!

With my previous online purchases, they usually take about a week and a half, but with Sephora they would send the products you ordered the soonest they can! And I am very impressed with this.

Okay now let's go to the products that I've purchased.

I purchased a total of 6 items: 2 skincare products and 4 lip products.

Burt's Bees is a brand that cares for their customers as they would like to use natural ingredients to be used to the skin. I actually have tried their lip balms before but I was surprised that they now have tinted lip balms!

I actually got two tinted lip balms with a lip crayon.

I also purchased 2 All day moisture lipstick in Nile Nude and Scarlet Soaked.

I'll do a separate post on these lip products because I've only used the lipstick once.

I only got a pack of cleansing wipes to try out, which came in a good time because I want to try something new in terms of cleansing wipes. This actually smells nice and its not too overpowering.

I have oily combination skin so knowing that this is for sensitive type makes me raise my brows if this will work out for me. Let's see in the future if this works out.

And last item on the list is the natural anti blemish purifying daily cleanser with willow bark.

This is the first time trying out Burt's bees skin care products, as of the reviews I've read most of them give out a positive comment about Burt's Bees products so I am hoping that this product can keep the pimples at bay this summer season since I break out more during this time.

For a stress free shopping experience shop at Sephora PH!

I am really amazed with this product because they really get the job done in no time!

I will be ordering here again soon, so make sure to check back for more Sephora PH hauls ok?

If you girls want to know more about Sephora PH and also other Burt's Bees products you can check this link for more information.

Much Love!

To New Adventures

Yes, I know it's been a while.
Yes. I was away for some long.

And now I am back!

And I miss you all!

I haven't been writing because I went into an adventure. It's not something of a soul-searching trip but somehow it became one.

And if you noticed in the picture above YES! I have mustered enough courage to pose for this!

That means something for me since I don't have a lot of confidence when it comes to my weight and my looks.

To the haters,

please spare me the spiteful comment of why I am fishing for compliments because I am definitely not doing that.

I am thinking of revamping this blog but at the moment, I am still figuring out what I have to do with my life.

I am in that crossroad again of where to go, What to do and who to go with.

I am currently in Ozamiz City for the past 2 and a half months. A lot of things happened. There are good things, bad things, and also the ugly ones.

I would admit that the past few months I haven't been writing because I am uninspired.

Maybe because of depression, or home-sickness or the stress of everything. I just didn't find it appealing to write anymore during that time. I actually have a lot of time to draft articles and even edit pictures! It was such a waste that at that time depression took over me.

It was sort of a time as well in my life that I mostly cried on my own just to alleviate the pain that I am far away from everyone that I care of.

I am still in a dark place in my mind, in which sometimes I just stop and mindlessly think of all the possiblities of what if I quit?

But there is that one little voice that keeps shouting NO.

No to giving up because I have already spent too much effort on this project to be swallowed by the stress and also depression.

And that is why I am writing this article. I want to let you guys know that I need your help in building myself again. Let's rebuild that girl that started writing here back in 2010 that is full off vicarious energy that you see in each informative and sometimes crazy articles.

I want that Alice back again. Help me.
