John is All Set for Mr. Gay World

Last April 24, 2017 at Club 690 in Quezon City was the invitational send-off press conference of Mr. Gay World Philippines John Raspado to Mr. Gay World 2017 which will take place with the attendance of pageant and showbiz media alike.

Your girl wasn’t there but I would like to share my support for our bet for the coveted title.

As all the bases are covered in the preparations of John Raspado before leaving for Madrid, Spain next week it’s a great news that he is in the lead in the popularity voting section of the competition. But still even if he is in the lead, it would be great to show our support by continuously voting for him.  As he is also gunning the award for best in Social Media.

If you want to show your support you can click HERE to vote for him!

I would like to wish John Raspado the best of luck in the competition in Madrid that will be this coming May 5-10 2017.

Much Love!

Beauty Finds at a click of a button with Sephora PH!

Since I am back in Manila, I want to share to you girl a quick haul I had with Sephora Philippines!

Take note that I ordered these when I was still in Mindanao to check if they have really good service and I would say its far from what I expected.

I purchased some Burt's Bees products since I have been curious to try out a lot of their items.

I ordered these about 2 weeks ago, and the package arrived a week later - It was that fast!

With my previous online purchases, they usually take about a week and a half, but with Sephora they would send the products you ordered the soonest they can! And I am very impressed with this.

Okay now let's go to the products that I've purchased.

I purchased a total of 6 items: 2 skincare products and 4 lip products.

Burt's Bees is a brand that cares for their customers as they would like to use natural ingredients to be used to the skin. I actually have tried their lip balms before but I was surprised that they now have tinted lip balms!

I actually got two tinted lip balms with a lip crayon.

I also purchased 2 All day moisture lipstick in Nile Nude and Scarlet Soaked.

I'll do a separate post on these lip products because I've only used the lipstick once.

I only got a pack of cleansing wipes to try out, which came in a good time because I want to try something new in terms of cleansing wipes. This actually smells nice and its not too overpowering.

I have oily combination skin so knowing that this is for sensitive type makes me raise my brows if this will work out for me. Let's see in the future if this works out.

And last item on the list is the natural anti blemish purifying daily cleanser with willow bark.

This is the first time trying out Burt's bees skin care products, as of the reviews I've read most of them give out a positive comment about Burt's Bees products so I am hoping that this product can keep the pimples at bay this summer season since I break out more during this time.

For a stress free shopping experience shop at Sephora PH!

I am really amazed with this product because they really get the job done in no time!

I will be ordering here again soon, so make sure to check back for more Sephora PH hauls ok?

If you girls want to know more about Sephora PH and also other Burt's Bees products you can check this link for more information.

Much Love!

To New Adventures

Yes, I know it's been a while.
Yes. I was away for some long.

And now I am back!

And I miss you all!

I haven't been writing because I went into an adventure. It's not something of a soul-searching trip but somehow it became one.

And if you noticed in the picture above YES! I have mustered enough courage to pose for this!

That means something for me since I don't have a lot of confidence when it comes to my weight and my looks.

To the haters,

please spare me the spiteful comment of why I am fishing for compliments because I am definitely not doing that.

I am thinking of revamping this blog but at the moment, I am still figuring out what I have to do with my life.

I am in that crossroad again of where to go, What to do and who to go with.

I am currently in Ozamiz City for the past 2 and a half months. A lot of things happened. There are good things, bad things, and also the ugly ones.

I would admit that the past few months I haven't been writing because I am uninspired.

Maybe because of depression, or home-sickness or the stress of everything. I just didn't find it appealing to write anymore during that time. I actually have a lot of time to draft articles and even edit pictures! It was such a waste that at that time depression took over me.

It was sort of a time as well in my life that I mostly cried on my own just to alleviate the pain that I am far away from everyone that I care of.

I am still in a dark place in my mind, in which sometimes I just stop and mindlessly think of all the possiblities of what if I quit?

But there is that one little voice that keeps shouting NO.

No to giving up because I have already spent too much effort on this project to be swallowed by the stress and also depression.

And that is why I am writing this article. I want to let you guys know that I need your help in building myself again. Let's rebuild that girl that started writing here back in 2010 that is full off vicarious energy that you see in each informative and sometimes crazy articles.

I want that Alice back again. Help me.

January 25 was a memorable day as Mayor Reynaldo “Áldong” Parojinog celebrates brotherhood and camaraderie among his peers and the local tribe of Ozamiz in lieu with his birthday.

Held at his farm, present were members of various local government units, along with the various mayors of the province of Misamis Occidental as spearheaded by Governor Herminia M. Ramiro; all to show that they support his endeavors and display unity in the said province.

Not only was it attended by political people, members of the local tribe of Subanen was also present to show their appreciation to all his efforts in preserving their cultural heritage – one of the reasons as to why Ozamiz City was awarded the Seal of Good Local Governance last 2016.

Showing their appreciation and acceptance of the mayor, the present Subanen tribesmen conducted a small blessing and brotherhood ceremony over the mayor; no small feat knowing the value and importance of this ceremony between the tribe and its acknowledged mayor.

Food were shared by all, entertainment was also aplenty and well wishes were all that could be heard that day as people celebrated for Mayor Parojinog. The Parojinog family was ever present, showing love and support to the present patriarch. The whole event echoed unity of the whole city for their mayor and that of the province. It was not just a day for blood relations but also those related in spirit – the spirit of unity.

Ozamiz City - New Police Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido declares that Ozamiz City is a near – 0 – drug free activity in the whole of Misamis Occidental. Out of the 10 drug test buy activity conducted, only 2 of it held illegal drugs and it is not clear whether the source is from the city itself or from another location. Transferred from Albuera, Leyte last 2016, Police Chief Inspector Espenido is glad to find the local government open to discussions on drug bust activities in the city. After being tagged as the new drug-buster of Leyte, Espenido is now faced with clearing the name of Ozamiz City as an active drug activity place in Mindanao. From the latest regular session meet last January 16, 2017 held at the city hall of Ozamiz, he was invited to present his assessment on the latest drug activity in the city. For him, this open door policy exhibited by the local government is a positive sign for him to create a good relationship with the local government and the police force.
Based on his assessment report presented to the local government, the drug activity of the place is quite minimal compared to the perception of those non-residents of the said city. He is quite positive that this present trend will lead from minimal to 0-drug related activity in a couple of years since the local government is in full support in eradicating all illegal drug activity in their city. s From the side of the local government, they are quite pleased with the assessment report presented by the new police chief inspector and shall continue to maintain an open door discussion with the police force to help eliminate the false assumption held by those who has initially believed in the high drug activity in the city.

This latest development between the police force and the local government is a clear sign of a hand-in-hand cooperation and relationship in fighting all illegal drug activity in the area of Misamis Occidental starting with Ozamiz City.

So if you are planning on visiting Ozamiz anytime soon and think of these things. I would just like to let you know - From a person that has been staying in Ozamiz for some time that illegal activities are under control and it is safer here than any place I have lived in my life.

Much Love!

xx Alice
