Jollibee's Pinoy and Proud Celebration!

If you girls have been following me on my Instagram account (Which I hope you are) You would have probably seen me flooding your feed with posts from Jollibee's #PinoyAndProud celebration countdown last June 11.

And to be honest I am still not over it. So here is a low down on the happenings on that night that I wasn't able to tell you girls.

As being the nation's number one fastfood chain, Jollibee threw the biggest and star-studded Independence Day celebration last June 11 at the Metrotent in Pasig City. This event brought together world-class Pinoy talents for a grand salubong of the 118th anniversary of our national independence.

With the hashtag #PinoyAndProud, Jollibee's Independence Day Celebration and countdown showed incredible performances from the most in demand OPM artists such as KZ Tandingan, Lyka Gairanod, Darlene Vibares, JK Labajo, Spongecola, Itchyworms, Darren Espanto and of course Sarah Geronimo.

Jollibee's celebrity endorsers Jodi Sta. Maria and her son Thirdy, Zoren and Carmina Legaspi with their twins Mavi and Cassy also joined in the festivities.

Another thing that Jollibee launched their second collaboration with the global fashion retail giant, Uniqlo which they had a fashion show of the T-Shirts that have a touch of Jollibee which you can check out now at all Uniqlo stores.

The whole celebration was filled with fun stuff. My highlight can be when Yael went to the crowd. It was awesome because everyone started getting more pumped up. And after that was Itchyworm's set which was definitely something I love the most because hey I got a selfie with Jugs!

I am such a nerd sometimes so don't hate.

Overall I really loved the event. It was fun, lively and also makes me proud to be a Pinoy.

I'll be uploading the vlog really soon. Internet at home is so slow I can't even handle it.

Were you there? What was the thing you liked about the event the most?

Much Love!

Photoescape Reviews: iWhite Korea 2 minute miracle whitening mask

Hey lovelies! I am back with a new review! And again this is A continuation of my review from my YouTube channel.

There are days that my skin looks dull and it is not a good look and usually at would mean I need some exfoliating or a mask done and I found something really  interesting which is iWhite Korea's 2 minute miracle whitening mask.

This is 24.50pesos at Watsons and its main claim is the mask can give the skin lighter and brighter skin in 2 minutes. It can also diminish blemish marks such as acne marks with its ingredients and control excessive oiliness while still keeping the skin moisturized.

Some of its active ingredients are
- Limonia Acidissima
-Lonicera Caprifolium extract
- Bambusa vulgaris leaf extract
- aloe vera leaf extract

These are the ingredients that will help the skin achieve that lighter and brighter skin within 2 minutes. I actually find pronouncing the first three ingredients bothersome and i would really like it if they would be able to say the simplified term as well. But it can be helpful to know these in the future right?

The product actually looks like a cleanser which has a shampoo scent. Its really weird but I actually like the scent.

Now let's do the transformation. Mind you I look really bad since I just cam home and took off my make up in the next shots so don't judge me!

Before. No make up. And haven't cleansed the face.

Have applied the product on the face. Make sure to apply sufficient amount to the face and let it sit in the face for about 1 minute.

And I actually did some wacky faces to see if constricts the face and it actually doesn't.

After 1 minute the product will have a liquidy consistency then you just have to massage in a circular motion to let the product be absorbed by the skin.

When I first used this product, I was really surprised seeing the white specks because that indicated the exfoliate part of the product.

And just wash off the product with cold water. The effects it will give in your face as it says will diminish acne scars, brighten the skin and also whiten it.

And here is a close up of my face. I actually like its effect in the skin because it has that instant brightening effect. But regarding the acne marks immediately disappearing, I don't think it will disappear with just one or two uses. I still see the acne scars I had but they have diminished only for a little bit.

What do I love about this product:

- It is locally available.
- It is travel friendly.
- It is affordable.
- Has a nice and not overwhelming scent.
- Does what it says.
- Did not break me out.

What I did not love about this product:
- None

Over all I love this product. Its something I have been using every week because I do see a difference, but I do have to try out other products so I will keep this on the side just in case.

I will recommend this product to girls who are looking for a skin brightening product that can also keep away the oiliness of the face. I can say that this product works but it will take some time to diminish those acne marks, but if you are just looking for a skin brightening product, this is for you.

So that's it for today's product review. Make sure to check out my youtube channel for more updates!

Much Love!

StyleCon Asia 2016 Manila Stop Over

Hey lovelies! I am still on cloud nine regarding StyleCon Asia!

If you were not part of the festivities I'll give you a low down on what happened okay?

First off was style chats in which it was a panel discussion with some of influencers which includes Lindy a.k.a BubzBeauty!

There was also a talk regarding the love hate relationship we have in social media. Don't deny it. There are days you love Social Media but there are days we just want to shut down our devices and forget it exists.

One of the questions I asked was what was the best and worst comment they got on their channels and I really feel with what Teena A.K.A. Angkikayko said that there were a lot of people who commented bad in regards of her weight but she just shrugged them. I was also able to see my friend Tine of RealAsianBeauty and felt so proud of her accomplishment because I know she had been through so much bad talking because of her acne problem, but now she looks so great with her skin.

I really like this part of the event because we can ask question, and if you were there, you would certainly know that I was one that ask most of the questions. I am nosy I know, but its part of being a blogger so #donthateme lol.

Then we had lunch, but unfortunately I was one of the few that had Jollibee but it was okay because there was definitely a lot of girls that attended so its just part of life, and its Jollibee so its definitely delicious.

The second part of the event was stylestudio which where we can know on how to look great. Kryz Uy hosted this part of the event while Lourd Ramos was there to talk about hair styles we can do, and what itched me is to ask how I can style my short hair since as you girls know gandara ng hair ni ateng since nagpakalbo ako.

Then all of a sudden Kryz remembered me from the Kojie San Event. And I was shocked that she was there as well! And yes I was a total fan girl at that moment.

There was a small break before we proceeded with the next one which is about getting our brows done with Benefit Cosmetics and also how to dress according to our shape with Zalora.

In this part some of the girls were given makeovers with their brows and I do see the Benefit is definitely a brand I might go to when I need to get my brow stuff in the future.

The last part of the program was the selfies and goodbyes which I had a chance to talk and vlog with Bubz! I have yet to upload that since its a reaaaaly long vlog. But you will like it for sure.

I loved the most about the event is meeting new friends and knowing more about how I can engage my viewers and be a more effective influencer for you girls.

I have been a blogger and youtuber for a long time and I won't be here if it were not for you girls and ILOVEYOUSOOOOOOOMUCH!

Were you there? Let me know your experience on the comments section!

Much Love!

Photoescape Reviews: eRAse Pimple Solution

Hey lovelies! Its finally Monday! And I have a new product to share to you girls. I already uploaded a review about this on my youtube channel so this would just be a continuation of that review.

And it is for eRAse Pimple Solution.

HyC 150 now opens online store and launches Ask a Doctor

Being a beauty and lifestyle blogger (naks!) puts me in a position that most people will say that t I know a lot of things or I might be an expert at it. I do feel really blessed when I get emails asking about beauty related stuff like anti aging and skin care questions, and also where they can buy a certain product I mentioned on my posts but sometimes I feel that it would be best to consult a professional regarding skin concerns so I was really happy to be able to see the launch of HyC 150 online store and also their Ask a Doctor page.

Bridesmaid Feels

Its Sunday..and I am doing a garage sale. Solely for the reason that I need funds to get a bridesmaid dress.

I never thought I will do this through selling my precious items to save up for a dress! And I am willing to work hard to save up money for that dress because its for one of my friend's wedding.

Being a bridesmaid is something most girls would take for granted, but being asked to be one means that you are special to them and they want you to be on their special day.

I remember the last time I was part of a wedding entourage. I remember I was a replacement bridesmaid back in High school. It was for a family friend's wedding. I remember it so well because the dress they gave me was too tight it made me regret saying yes to it on the last minute. The dress was a canary yellow one shoulder gown. The bust area was made for a girl with an A cup and I have a C cup so think of how my breathing was in that dress. I was glad it was not a strapless dress or my twins would've jumped out of the dress in less than a minute.

My mom was really proud that I have 'stepped up the game' because usually I would be the flower girl at weddings, but since I was too old for that it was like I am stepping up further in the wedding entourage.

The worst part of that episode wasn't really the dress but my escort. He was this Douche bag cousin of the groom which I despised immensely because he was trying to flirt with me not knowing I was 15 at the time - and the guy was 29 years old!

Being a bridesmaid that time I didn't really thought of it because I was younger then, but now in my age, I kinda have my thoughts of who I will invite in my wedding someday.

But I don't think it will happen anytime soon since I am not in a relationship right now. But I am still hopeful. The only thing I do not like though is the thought that at my age almost everyone is expecting me to settle down.

How can I settle down with a man if I don't have one right?

Ugh...WHY???

I am blabbering nonsense again. Its just frustrating that a lot of people are urging me to be in a relationship or worst get married because according to them it might be too late for me when I reach 30.. like REALLY?

I don't see the point of it. I am fine being a bridesmaid today...I might get married in the future but can anyone please stop pushing that thought yet in my head.

I have yet to get a job first so let's do that first okay?

oooookay I think I need to go now because I need to get everything I need to sell out the door and I will be very busy throughout the day so I will just update you later tonight if I did sell something.

Wish me luck and Much Love!

Photoescape Review: Jordan's Beauty Secrets From the Dead Sea Tea Tree Oil Face Mask

During the weeks that I was suffering from the Flu, I have let go of my skin care routine. It was like F*ck it world I am sick and I do not care what happens to my skin, All I want is my blanket and warm tea so let me be!

I know it sounds really bad but come on, Sometimes we forget to take care of our skin. And currently I am feeling much better that the first thing I did was give myself a facial in the comfort of my home because I will be binge watching some Korean Drama, so a good facial mask is probably the way to go.

And the one I used first is from Beauty Secrets from the Dead Sea.

Whipped: Fun and Sweet Way to Hair Removal!

I would always have this conversation with my girl friends regarding hair removal. Its never really a good experience for me so I try to ask for options beyond shaving. I've had friends advise me using epilators, shavers and even hot wax! And honestly I will try anything to see which is the best.

And one of the things I found out is actually Sugar Waxing here at Whipped Sugar Wax and Body Scrub Salon.

Meralco Consumers Enjoys lower power rates in May

Earlier this month, Meralco announced that the rate for its residential customers in May would go down by 41-centavos per kWh, thereby bringing it down to Php 8.44 per kWh

for a typical household consuming 200 kWh, this translates to a reduction of around php 82.00 in their electricity bill. I actually was really happy to see this because as one of the breadwinners in my family, our household really needs to budget a lot so this reduction is amazing for us!

This month’s overall rate is lower by Php 1.54 per kWh compared to
May 2015’s Php 9.98 per kWh. It is also the lowest since January
2010, or over a period of six years. The decrease was primarily due to the generation charge that has decreased by about .21 php for kWh from April.

· Transmission charge likewise registered a decrease of PhP0.10 per kWh
due to the reduction in NGCP’s ancillary charges and slight decrease in Power
Delivery Service (PDS) charge.

One of the things that I learned during the event was also the Orange Tag that you will see in some appliances such as refrigerators, electric fans, washing machines and air conditioning units. The orange tag was actually shown on TV recently as a way for consumers to know how much it would cost per use.

Knowing these things are really helpful for consumers because its a way for us to also be knowledgeable on how our electricity works. And also you can see everything you need to know about your electricity consumption and its charges.

For more information about this you can check out http://www.meralco.com.ph

Much Love!

Meet the 2016 Yumbassadors!

The country’s number one family fast food chain, Jollibee, has unveiled its newest batch of Yumbassadors—young Filipino achievers who have excelled and continuously trail blaze in their respective fields, serving as role models for today’s Generation Y.

I would say that these roster of young individuals make me re-think my strategy in making a difference in the world because some of them are actually younger than me!

The world-class roster is composed of talented artists and reel-and-real life couple James Reid and Nadine Lustre; international model Kelsey Merritt; social entrepreneur Rachel de Villa; young inventor Angelo Casimiro; spoken word artist and performer Juan Miguel Severo; model and agricultural entrepreneur Jairus Ferrer; record-breaking runner Mea Gey Niñura; outstanding student and aspiring doctor Christopher Valentin; international race car driver Marlon Stockinger; and world-renowned all-girl group 4th Impact.

Unfortunately James and Nadine were not able to grace the event, but it was okay because you can really feel the impact of the other yumbassadors because they are the proof of how millennials are - Passionate, Driven and determined to go for the best.

I remember that Millennials are actually called Gen Y but I think its much better to call them #ProudGenYum don't you think? Just like How Jollibee Philippines Head of Marketing and Global Brand Chief Marketing Officer Francis Flores because this year's batch are impressive individuals that are out to change the world.

“Jollibee puts utmost value on excellence and we always strive to recognize those who manifest it,” he said. “Our Yumbassadors were chosen because of their passion for langhap-sarap ng buhay. They do not settle for mediocrity, and welcome challenges as opportunities to grow and become better people. I am confident that their individual journeys and success stories will inspire many young people.”

I am really touched with Mea Gey Niñura the most because she is running not for the fame but for her education and family. I actually got teary eyed and wanted to hug her because she doesn't know that she has made a big impact in her small way.

To know more about Jollibee’s new Yumbassadors, check out Jollibee Philippines’ official YouTube channel by typing in “Jollibee Philippines” in the keyword search

Much Love!
