I love watching the voice - especially The Voice Kids! I love how the Coaches hone this little stars to be the best in singing. And they are back for their second season! They will be having auditions in selected Starmall branches so make sure to check out the Press Release provided below if you want your kids to take part on this wonderful contest this Summer.
After the stunning success of The Voice Kids (TVK) Season 1 and The Voice franchise as a whole, it isn’t surprising that ABS-CBN is already laying the groundwork for the next batch of talented young singers in the country. The reality singing competition is open to children between ages 7 to 13.
Each kid shall prepare two to four songs in the audition. No need to bring tapes – the songs will be sung in a capella to better gauge the singing talent of the participants. Auditions will be done in different Starmall branches, as per schedule:
March 15 – Starmall Alabang, 9 to 5 PM
March 15 – Starmall San Jose Del Monte, 9 to 5 PM
March 21 – Starmall EDSA-SHAW, 9 to 5PM
March 25 – Starmall Las Piñas, 9 to 5 PM
March 29 – Starmall Prima Taguig, 9 to 5 PM
April 9 – Starmall Talisay 9 to 5 PM
The Voice Kids Season 2 audition schedules in Starmall The above dates are preliminary auditions, inviting talented young kids to put their best foot forward and get noticed. From there, the ABS-CBN reality show judges will be weeding out contestants and picking the best of the best for their team. No doubt, the audition is just part one of the long, gruelling – yet highly rewarding process of being the next grand champion of the The Voice Kids.
The Voice Kids Season 1’s winner, Lyca Gairanod, won a recording contract with one of the best in the industry today, her career currently enjoying a fast rise with MCA Universal. Along with that, she and her family are now enjoying their new home in Camella Tierra Nevada. Camella, the biggest homebuilder in the country, was one of the major sponsors of the show.
Camille Villar, only-daughter of Villar Group Chairman Manny Villar, welcomed Lyca and her family in their new home in Camella Tierra Nevada Additional prizes of Lyca include 1 million cash prize, a trust fund, home appliance and music showcases, and many more.
Even months after the airing of the TVK season 1, Lyca, and the other top contestants, namely, Darren Espanto, Juan Karlos Labajo and Darlene Vibares, continues to make waves and creates their own mark in the local entertainment industry, a testament to the high publicity the show has garnered.
According to Kantar Media, TVK Season 1 was the most-watched show nationwide in 2014, garnering an average rating of 34.5%. Last season’s show was hosted by Luiz Manzano and Alex Gonzaga, and the second season promises the same setup.
The team of judges in Season 1: Sarah Geronimo, Lea Salonga, and Bamboo Mañalac may also be part of this successful show’s second season. During its three-month run (May to July 2014), The Voice Kids dominated social media with the top contestants trending in social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. More of the same are expected for Season 2 as judges embark on blind auditions and coach their picks to become better singers and performers in general.
The Voice Kids is based on a Dutch reality TV Show running under the same name. The Philippine reboot of the show will start airing soon after
Stay updated for further TVK audition schedules.
If I was younger I would definitely join this. I am actually qualified for the adults season maybe on Season 3 of the Voice I'll be joining for sure.

(excuse that this post is quite late because internet went haywire on me)
Last March 14 I was invited by my friend Kristine of www.RealAsianBeauty.com to attend this wonderful event at the TriNoma Activity Center.
Pure and Pampered is basically an event full of pampering services for the everyday Pinay. The event had separate booths like nail art station, skin consultation, free facials and also a make over booth where you can get your hair and make up done by representatives from Mary Kay.
To get a free make over session all you need to do is purchase about 250 pesos worth of Truderm products and that gives you instant passes to the event. It was that easy!
Here are some of their products that you might get if you were at the event.
As an added bonus, there was also a program that the attendees get to enjoy.
There were also games in which you get to win additional Truderm products! really nice indeed. I was quite fascinated with one performance in particular which is the ballet performance of Frozen's Let it Go.
Don't judge me people! I love the official soundtrack so seeing two beautiful ballerinas from the Shirley Halili School of Ballet is such a cute and wonderful performance.
Besides from the performance, there was also a meet a greet with Truderm's endorsers Pauleen Luna and Sofia Andres. These ladies are so beautiful that their smile beams through the crowd.
The event couldn't get any better when they announced that there is a raffle for a trip to Boracay for two which was won by a very lucky girl.
Overall the event was fantastic since I was able to be pampered by Truderm. I will be making a review about their products soon so better check back soon.
Have you tried Truderm products? Let me know your thoughts about their products on the comments section below!

Hey guys! The summer season is near...actually the summer season is slowly arriving! And you know what that means...time for a summer outing of course!
I love going all over each destination I go to. Unfortunately because of that, it becomes a chore for me to find the perfect pair of shoes that can help me achieve function, style and comfort at the same time. I love walking a lot when traveling so I really would like to try something that has both.
As an added bonus I would prefer a pair that is locally made to support local entrepreneurs.
I saw one that I think every Pinay will like which is Mishka Shoes!
Mishka's Shoes has a combination of style, comfort and function which is perfect for Summer! They offer a wide variety of comfy yet stylish and foldable shoes that is perfect for every woman's lifestyle.
Mishka Shoes are a combination of style, comfort and function. Style doesn’t look like it’s a foldable shoes. That most of the time you can just wear these shoes whole day with any occasion without sacrificing a woman’s outfit. Comfortable materials used with extra foam cushion in the insole. Functions as emergency shoes to stop the agony that comes from wearing high heels too long. What’s good about Mishka Shoes is that it’s also light weight so you can bring them along when you travel.
They are also proudly Pinoy made so you are sure that they are really top on quality yet still stylish. And also its best to support locally made products which made me love Mishka's shoes more.
Mishka Shoes is present online through Facebook www.facebook.com/MishkaShoesPH and Instagram @mishkashoes. so you girls can be updated with their latest styles.
Mishka Shoes is currently available in Landmark Makati located at the 2nd floor of Shoe Section. They are also available in different bazaar events around the Metro.

As the Summer season begins so thus more institutions that bring more activities for children to hone their skills this summer season.
In line with its thrust this year to make it fresh by bringing the program to more schools and communities nationwide, Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA presented by Alaska conducted a series of free open clinics last weekend in different parts of the Philippines.
Two sessions of clinics were conducted in all venues -- one at 9-11 a.m. and another from 1-4 p.m.
Jeffrey Cariaso, the basketball Director for the Alaska Power Camp and Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA coaches led in helping the next generation of young and aspiring basketball players realize their dreams. Other coaches who conducted the learning sessions include PBA Legends Rodney Santos, Eric de la Cuesta and Topex Robinson, and Perlas Pilipinas national players Melissa Jacob, Ish Tiu, MJ Galicia and Justine Formata.
I was able to see it in action last Sunday at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help System in Binan, Laguna along with other bloggers also with Alaska as they continue their partnership with Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA this year to nurture young boys and girls become better individuals and encourage them to embrace a healthy lifestyle not just by drinking milk but also by leading an active lifestyle through sports.
The event was really educating because you also get to learn about the different training that actual basketball athletes both from the NBA and PBA go through to be at the top of their game.
At the end two Jr. WNBA and four Jr. NBA top players from more than 400 participants were picked after the 2-day selection camp. And now being part of the top 50 boys and 24 girls they will further showcase their skills at teh National Training Camp this April 24 to 26 at the PICC Forum Tent and at SM Mall of Asia. There will also be a selection camp in Iloilo City on March 7-8 at Atenio de Iloilo; Baguio on March 14-15 at St. Louis University; Bacolod on March 21-22 at St. John's Institute; Davao on March 28-29 and lastly on Manila this April 11-12 at the PICC Forum.

When I was in college I remember learning a lot about MTRCB since its part of our curriculum as a Mass Communications practitioner to know about different offices that cater to a specific area of communications.
The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board or MTRCB is the office that regulates the things that we see on television like program classifications and also its ratings.
And this 2015 marks the 30th year of the MTRCB. To kick off the celebrations, MTRCB formally launched a new informercial for 2015 last February 23 2015. Here is the press release for more information.
Directed by renowned film and television director Jose Javier “Joey” Reyes, Jr., DGPI and conceptualized by Mr. Erlito “Lilit” Reyes, the infomercial features actors-spouses Ryan and Judy Ann Agoncillo in a typical morning situation at home. In such scene, their depicted child picks up a word from a TV feature and asks the elders in the house what it means.
The infomercial aims to challenge parents and responsible adults to be aware of the media content our children are exposed to, and to be mindful of the MTRCB’s classification ratings. Parents are also reminded that the primary duty in guiding their children as to the media the latter see still rests in them.
Details of the infomercial were discussed by Director Joey Reyes, Ryan and Judy Ann Agoncillo, Lilit Reyes and MTRCB Board Members Bibeth Orteza and Manet Dayrit, the latter being Co-Chairpersons of the Infomercial Committee.
The launch was culminated by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the TV Networks and theater operators to ensure showing of the infomercial and to continuously empower the general public towards discerning viewership and thus, among other objectives, inform parents as to the media and entertainment their children may see.
The infomercial has started airing the infomercials last February 25 2015 in all cinemas and television network.

One of the things I love to use in the shower is body wash because its easy to use and also you won't have that awkward moment when you drop your soap.
Today's review will ba all about Dial Coco water hydrating body wash!
I've only seen this variant on SM supermarket and on some watson branches here in Manila so I'm not sure if its available everywhere. It is retailed at about 199php.
Its actually a huge bottle which would last you for months! I was really surprised because usually when I have a body wash it would last only a maximum as one month because I have a brother who is a bigger body wash lover.
It has somewhat a similar consistency and color as water...although I remember water is transparent right? haha!
Compared to other body washes, Dial has a vanilla / coconut scent which isn't really something I like to use often. But thankfully its a very hydrating body wash and also the scent doesn't linger in the skin.
One of the things I really like about this is one drop is enough to use with the help of your loofah. I especially love that its transparent so its quite natural and also safe to use for kids.
overall I think Dial's Coco water body wash is a winner for me. If you have dry skin I would suggest you try this because after I use this I use little to no body lotions or body butters so Its great!
that's it for today's post! Have you tried this product? What do you think about it? let me know on the comments section below.
