Reveal A More Youthful You with Premium HyC 150

My mom works as a training manager to performers that will be going to Japan so it is really not a rare occurrence that I meet Japanese investors, managers and high officials almost on a daily basis.

And whenever I see them the first thing that comes to my mind is

"Why do all of them look so young?"

Its really something that boggles my mind because even with only minimal make up they have this bright, radiant - almost pore-less skin that I can't help but be at awe.

My Belmere Skin Centre Experience

'Being Beautiful is Always an Advantage' for a woman's perspective because it shows that you take care of yourself and you want to be perceived as you want to be seen. That is what Belmere Skin Center commits to its clienteles' by offering them clinically proven treatments minus the budget blowing over board.

Haute Heads Salon Now Open at SM Megamall Fashion Hall

Admit it - when you are depressed or just want to do something 'new' to yourself you either A.) wear a new lipstick shade or B.) get a new hair style.

I would opt for the latter because having a new hair style is like saying to the old you and Hello to a new self. Hair transformations are really a thing nowadays because our hair will just grow back eventually but of course the awe-factor it gives is just priceless.

I am really thankful that I was part of the opening of Haute Heads Salon in Megamall last week.

Located at the 5th floor of the Mega Fashion Hall of SM Megamall, Haute heads salon offers the basic needs that are offered at a reasonable price.

From coiffure (haircut) to bands of color (ombre) this chic modern salon's goal is not to set a fad to its customers but make it a habit to go to the salon.

One of the show's highlight is an on the spot painting of a portrait of world renowned hair stylist Lourd Ramos by Ehrran Montoya who also made some murals inside the salon.

Another highlight is Lourd Ramos' hair fashion shows which showcased a lot of his works that at first I thought they came out straight from fashion week!

I am truly honored to be part of this salon's openings.

Haute Heads Salons offers its services starting at 350php. I will be back soon because I need to get my hair fixed again so make sure to check back here for my review about Haute Heads Salon!

Haute Heads Salon is located at the 5th Level, Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall. You can call them at 5312762 or 09253002105. Follow them on Twitter @hauteheadssalon and also on Instagram @hautheads.salon

Ride with ATAT Motorcycle Club this weekend!

This September 26-28 the ATAT Motorcycle Club (which stands for Any Time All the Time ) will be having its first official long ride for 2014 to Baguio as they commemorate their new set of officers for 2014 to 2015 with President Charlie Carlos Ride.

ATAT was founded back in 2002 when Kiko Bernardo, Teddy Lim, and Elton Ong; three long-time friends got together after realizing their passion for motorbikes.

From the group of three, they started to grow and had many impromptu rides at any given time at any moments notice thus they got the name ATAT - Any Time All the Time. Together with Alberto Matias, the group decided to name the group because in our native language if you translate the phrase it describes someone who is very eager and impatient to do something.

To be honest, I do like their name because that means that because of their passion for motorbikes they are willing to drop anything to enjoy riding in their motorbikes. As its peak ATAT has now a total of 45 members.

And now on its 12th year, ATAT Motorcycle club has established itself as being one of the premier motorcycle clubs in the Philippines. With its 24 members, despite their busy schedules and day to day duties their friendship has evolved into a deeper sense of camaraderie and brotherhood of passionate bikers.

The members consists of : Elton Ong, Benjie Ladra, Abet Matias, Marc de Joya, Charlie Carlos,
Raymond Hallare, Vince Mercado, Felix Luakian, Mervin Pullon,Francis Varela, Paolo Vialu,
Rei Lagamia, Mayie Capinpin , Oliver Jimeno, JC Villanueva, AJ Maralit, Aaron Macalinao

Follow their ride schedule and adventures by liking ATAT MC on Facebook. Get ready with
them as ATAT Racing Team heads on to Clark International Speedway this October 4 & 5 and
witness the much awaited 4th leg of the Ducati Cup 2014 andAny Time All the Time Motorcycle
Club (ATAT MC).

See you guys there!

Happy Riding!

Craving and Dying Inside

WHY YOU NOT BLOG RECENTLY ALICE?!? WHY?!! - violent much? LOL

And also I am trying to finish all of my make up this 2014. I know it is unbelievable and probably something I won't be able to achieve in 3 and a half months but still I can try right?

I am opting on buying new jeans, new dressy tops, and also more dresses. I will be buying more shoes - probably heels soon because I want to look presentable.

To those that are asking - yes I am a sneakers and flats kind of girl so stepping on some heels is probably something scary for me but still I need to look more professional for my meetings with some brands.

Speaking of which, I have yet to tell you that I will be tying up with some brands soon to bring you guys AWESOME things on my blog as a way to thank you guys. I know I have been slacking a bit in my posts but don't fret because those special people that always read my posts I know you are out there and I will be giving you guys a special treat!

All Things Hair for Pinays Now Available

Most Filipinas - myself included like to search about hair-related things. Most of us go to Youtube especially to get the answers. We do get results but as much as trusting international youtubers - The problem is usually they would recommend products that are not available here in the Philippines. And also with the weather and our hair type the answer we found wouldn't really solve it right?

Personally I get really frustrated because when I need to get that the last possible option is to buy the item online which costs me more money and the waiting time of course.

Thankfully there is one channel now on youtube that would cater to Filipinos concern with hair problems. Wherein beauty solutions can be accessed with the corresponding products that are available in the market.

I am really honored to be part of their launch last September 18 where in they also introduced the video bloggers that would be doing the tutorials like Laureen Uy of www.breakmystyle.com; Angel Nepumuceno of www.lushangel.com;Kelly Misa of www.kellymisa.com; Nicole Andersson of nicoleandersson.blogspot.com and also James and Phil Younghusband for the male viewers.

The event was really nice because after the launch you could go to the styling stations for each blogger and they can assist you in getting that style fit for you.

I was really thankful because I was able to ask the hair stylist in the venue what can be a suitable style for my thin wavy hair and I am really excited to try it out soon!

So if you are looking for some hair inspirations on that special day and tips make sure to subscribe to www.AllThingsHair.com

Special thanks to Ms. Kathy Kenny Ngo :)

Create Your Own Home with Project First Home

Imagine building your own home from scratch - without any knowledge of it. To be honest, my parents did that and unfortunately there are a lot of things needed to be changed in our current house.

I don't really blame my parents with what our house looked like - They didn't do their research that well so our house came out looking really different to what I had in mind.

I don't really prefer others to get to that predicament so I suggest you get this book by John Aguilar entitled Project: First Home.

The book is a comprehensive guidebook that teacher first time Filipino home builders how to build their dream house from the ground up. It is basically everything you need to know in building your first house from scratch.

John  Aguilar is also the creator and executive producer of the Philippine's longest running real estate and construction TV show entitled Philippine Realty TV. The foreword of the book is written by renowned Architect Felino "Jun" Palafox Jr. who I am really honored to meet because Mr. Palafox was really nice to give us pointers in picking the right spot and also other aspects in building our dream homes.

Going back to the book: Project: First Home takes inspiration to the first season of Philippine Realty TV where they documented the construction of John Aguilar's first house from the aspects of designing the house to its constructions all the way to the finishing touches and furnishing of the whole house.

Some of the chapters includes how to find the perfect lot; securing a home loan; finding and hiring the design and construction team among others.

Another special chapter in the book is dedicated to being green and disaster adaptive home designs against typhoon and flooding.

I really find this book helpful that I actually purchased one for my mom to read. So far my mom has been reading it and learning a lot because she is planning (once again!) in re-constructing our house because she finds it stuffy now.

But if  you want something more accessible to your phone this book is also available on and E-book version which also contains interactive tools and videos linked to Project:First Home series on Youtube and also links to important websites of government agencies, supplies, and organizations.

“Project: First Home” is now available in all Fully Booked and Wilcon Depot branches nationwide. The Ebook is also available for download through the Buqo App.For inquiries and bulk purchases, contact Second Wind Publishing at Tel. (02) 621-4635 or email info@philippinerealtytv.com.Visit www.PhilippineRealtyTV.com  for more information on the book and airing schedules of Philippine Realty TV.

Go get yourself Project: First Home and learn how to build your first home.

Much Love!

WTF?! Rape T-Shirt Sold at SM?!

link

I have been seeing this post in my thread for the past  8 hours upon posting this article and might I saw that it is something everyone should be involved in.

The picture in questions is this one posted by Karen Kunawicz of a T-Shirt sold in SM Department stores that says Its not rape, its just snuggle with a struggle.

To be honest I feel appalled with this statement shirt because it sensationalizes Rape as being a normal thing to teenage boys.

TEENAGE BOYS!!

I believe these shirts are part of a collection made by The Boys Night Out which have their own statement shirts that are sold at the same department stores.

In my opinion there are 2 people at fault in this - SM and BNO.

SM for approving of such statement shirt to be sold in their department store in which I believe is a store that is for everyone. And with BNO for coming up with such shirt - I know its catchy and all but guys I know you have a more mature mind than this!

I am really displeased with this and I think its not a good statement to have for a young boy wear one because in the long run the person who owns this kind of shirt might think that its okay to rape - IT.IS.NOT.

I do hope that SM and Boys Night Out would release statements in regards to this because it is a very alarming issue that concerns the younger generations.

That is all.

How about for you? What do you think about this issue?

UPDATE 7:00PM of September 23, 2014

Sam YG of Boys Night Out has clarified that the shirt in question is not part of their BNO shirt line.

To those that have been commenting on these on a negative tone, I am nearly stating MY opinion and not writing about it just because its trending. And above all, the information that I got this was from a news website from a big news network shared to me by my friends.

I am not bashing BNO in any way  because I too am a listener of their show that is why I feel appalled if these came from the guys I listen to every Monday to Thursday because I know that they are not capable of such.

All comments are moderated on this blog and the author has a right to approve them or not.

Brilliant Misfits Solve Mind-Boggling Threats in SCORPION

There will be something to look forward to every Tuesday nights 9PM at RTL CBS Entertainment HD as it premiers a new series that will boggle your minds.

Based on a true story, SCORPION centers around an eccentric genius and his team of like minded prodigies. They work as a team to solve mind boggling national threats that are only under our noses.

I was able to watch this exhilarating show's pilot episode last week which is so high octane I think I need a genius to explain this further to me.

The show is about Walter O'Brien played by Elyes Gabel and his team of misfits who are real good in solving problems like he is. Another member of this team is Paige Dineen played by Katharine McPhee who has a young gifted son and she would be the one that translates the world that confounds this group that is comfortable within their bounds.

The show is really good and will leave you at the edge of your seat. So make sure to check out SCORPION tonight at 9pm on Skycable channels 53 (HD) and 196 (HD), On Destiny channel 53, Cablelink channel 224, and other provincial operators nationwide.

Like RTLCBSEntertainment on Facebook and follow them on twitter for more info about this great show and also their other offerings.

Create New Memories and Adventures with Ipanema

Whenever I go on a new adventure or I travel I make sure to buy a new pair of flip flops so it will remind me of the memories and the adventure I had.

But if I was not able to buy a new pair of flip flops I just take TONS of selfies with my friends.

\
Just like Ipanema, being the premium Brazilian flip flop brand takes our love for selfies to the next level with #IpanemaSelfeet.

The campaign dares the young fashionistas to capture and create great memories with selfeet. To kick start the campaign Ipanema will be having a series of mall events called IpanemaSelfeet Sunday in Manila (September 21, Robinsons Ermita), Cebu (October 12, Ayala Center) and Davao (November 16, Abreeza Mall).

The mechanics are really simple - if you are at the participating mall you can just upload your photo on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #IpanemaSelfeet and present it to the participating Bambu or Ipanema store to get discounts.

That is actually not all. You can take your selfeet to the next new level with fun backgrounds that are located in the participating mall!

Kicking things off today for the campaign which will be held at Robinsons's Ermita. Those that will participate and check out the cool designs of Ipanema Flip flops will be able to enjoy entertainment games to win Ipanema flip flops, discounts and lots more. They will also be joined by Diary ng Panget and Talk Back and Your Dead star James Reid and Nadine Lustre.

The Pressure of Being Perfect.

In this era, you have to act a certain way to be accepted.

You have to wear the right clothes, walk a certain way, talk a certain way and basically just be a different version of yourself.

I have been judged about being loud, being boisterous and such. I admit, if you encounter me at some events there will be a 99.5% chance you noticed me because of how loud I am. I do admit of this because it is true. But if you tell me to keep it down I wouldn't take it personally because I know that. And I am terribly sorry.

Just like that I get judged of being a less educated person - by people who haven't even met and talked to me! I was once called off if I was able to finish college with my attitude

My response: I graduated college because of this attitude.

I was called off several times not just for being loud but other things as well like for one is my figure. Most beauty bloggers are expected to look all dolled up and dressed to the nines. Think of like being less jeans more skirts kind.

I do admit dressing like so makes you look more feminine and also more presentable. But sometimes dressing like a barbie doll doesn't suit me. I actually pains me dressing up in gowns in some strictly formal family events when I was younger because I don't like it - but I have to because my mom said so.

But as a blogger I think I have to get used to it. And also there is no sense bitching out about it every single time. I do promise that there will be less jeans you would see me in and more dresses and skirts.

I feel bad though for those beauty bloggers that has to do that every single time. Because the pressure of being perfect is so hard to do. What is a girl to do - What is a beauty blogger to do?

I know I have said that I am more into lifestyle events now than beauty right? That doesn't mean I have shunned being a beauty blogger. I will always be one since I started as one and will continue to be one.

I know I am not perfect and that what makes me unique and makes me stand out. It does have its cons but sometimes being the odd ball from the group makes life more exciting.

To those that feel the pressure of being perfect hard - don't stress about it. I feel what you are going through and one thing I can say is don't let yourself be lost in all of this and still hold on to your true self. Find good people that accept it but still would keep you in check if you are going over board.

You will be a better person with them because they know that you can't change to being perfect but you can try to be a better version of that.

Much Love.

How to Be a Blogger

I know you guys would ask me this question: I know you do!

Being a blogger for somewhat 4 years seems such a short time but I have blogging longer than that.

I have been blogging for 10 years already! I first started a personal blog then at 2010 I started doing beauty reviews for the sheer fun of it.

I wasn't in the events - I didn't even know they existed!

Nor was the free stuff because I rarely get free stuff from brands before.

But here are some 10 things you might want to know if you want to be a blogger.

1. Learn how to write.

Writing is very simple they say. But you have to make an impact if you want to be a credible blogger. Make your posts very reliable and also something the reader can really relate to. Make it coherent for the reader to easily understand. You can use highfalutin words but make sure that at the end of the post the reader gets it.

2. Be Ready to be Judged.

Its very easy to be a blogger, the only hard part is when you are judged by it. People will judge you from your appearance to your grammar. Make room for that in your heart and your brain because it will come.

3. Learn to accept mistakes.

A simple grammar mistake is okay. Doing a whole shenanigan of it on the internet is the same. Learn how to accept that you are only human. There will be days that your grammar is jiving with you there will be days that you will curse yourself shit full of things that you wished you could have done.

4. If Attending events - Network yourself.

You are a blogger - You have your own brand that means to get more invites to events learn how to network yourself. Be sociable on events because there will  be a huge chances that you will be rubbing elbows with the movers and shakers of this field.

5. Find a mentor.

Just like any other fields, its not easy to be just on your own. You will be other bloggers that have been in the industry longer than you so its really best to get a mentor to get your act up together. Your mentor can help you improve your writing, your style, and also amp up your network. Your mentor is your friend that you can trust and can also help you understand that the blogosphere is a crazy world.

6. Not everyone can be your friend.

The blogosphere is like high school. Everyone is like your friend - but not everyone can be your friend. Learn how to categorize bloggers that you think you can really be friends with or just an acquaintance.

7. Stick to what your mama taught you.

If your mama taught you not to meddle in other people's business make sure to do that. Stick to your core principles because it will make you more credible in this field.

8. Learn to utilize what you have.

I  started blogging with only a cellphone camera to take pictures and videos. Not having a HD digital camera didn't stopped me in pursuing this field. Learn to utilize what you have into your own advantage because that means you are willing to take small steps into success.

9. Don't be in just for the freebies, lootbag, tokens etc.

Once that you have started attending events, there will be times that you get loots or tokens from the PRs or organizer of the event. Its great and all but don't expect every event to be the same. Don't expect that there will be a loot bag at the end of the event. DO expect a press release or maybe some other information your might use on your blog.

10. Do not give up.

Blogging will have its highs and lows. Don't be alarmed if you only got this kind of views and you didn't get invited - Deal with it. Not everything will go with what you want so in my words just wing it and move on.

These are just some of the tips I can give on being a blogger. Its not easy being one because you will really have some times that you will feel you want to quit and move on but if you want to succeed you really have to get up and do more because you will not go anywhere if you will just stay where you fell...if that made sense haha!

Overall I think that blogging is a great way to release stress, meet new people and even be your source of living. I have earned somewhat here I would say but its not entirely on monetary value but more of the experience because each day that I have been blogging makes me love it more.

Much Love!

Laging Good Vibes with Dolfenal

As a young girl I remember getting pains in the lower abdomen during those days that you just want to crawl under your bed covers and let the pain go away.

This feeling is similar with a migraine and toothache. But of course if we can do that how about other things that we need to do during the day?

Thankfully we have Dofenal for that.

Last September 10, Mefenamic Acid Dolfenal officially introduced its latest campaign #LagingGoodVibes.

After Us

I remember the most painful break up I had.

It was unbearable that I forgot my whole existence and just cried.

I told myself to keep it together.

You can do this.

You can move on.

That was 5 years ago.

There are still days I hear that song he dedicated to me. At first it made me froze just to hear the first few stanzas and feel that my body is slowly cracking in pieces. I shed tears and even had thoughts of what if I let him back in...which in the end never happened because I had friends to tell me that its not worth it.

This was a chapter of my life that almost destroyed me.

It was 3 months of him just being the center of my world. Then that December night I ended my misery in ending that relationship. He cheated on me - no scratch that.

I was the other woman who didn't even knew it.

Its hard to swallow that. Its like a bitter pill that I had to swallow to make me feel better.

At first moving on was tough because it was a secret relationship that had ended. I had to fake a smile to my family so they wouldn't know that I am hurting. I have to go to work and make everything seem...normal.

Those who are close to me at work knew this. They saw my face so red at work when I broke up with him. I was holding back tears thus making me look as red as a tomato.

I cried myself to sleep when I got home. I only slept for 2 hours.

Just like Carly.

We felt the same way when that relationship ended. That you just want to hold on to him..or the memory of it.nI think most girls would understand this. We have been here maybe once or more in our lives but its part of it.

I can say I have moved on after 5 years of trial and error. I didn't went back to him. He did try to get back with me but I resisted because I know I would just go back to my old self with him.

If you can relate with my story maybe you can relate more to this video.

Much Love

Breeze Removes 1 Million Stains in 1 Wash on its First Ever 1 Laba Day

Don't you feel stressed out when doing the laundry?

Believe it or not I am and so does my mom. The mere fact that it takes us about 3 hours to get all of the laundry done is so stressful that sometimes I prefer shipping some of my laundry to the pros to do it.

But thankfully one of the leading detergent brand - Breeze showcased its revolutionary stain -removing power with its 1 laba day.

The whole event is about washing 1 million - yes 1 Million clothes that was held simultaneously through out different barangays in the country. Mothers alike were treated to a day off from doing the laundry to enjoy the fun games and surprises that Breeze prepared for everyone.

The event was held simultaneously at Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Batangas, Cebu and Davao.

The ladies that did the laundry- the Breeze Laba ladies and also the laba machines that were sponsored by Electrolux, LG, Whirlpool and White Westinghouse took care of all the washing.

One of the highlights of the event is the surprise visit of the Sige Moms Christine Bersola-Babao, Gladys Reyes and Dimples Romana graced the event to reach out to moms across the country as being one of the heroes who always put the needs of the family at the top of their list.

With Breeze as a partner in taking care of the family, Mothers everywhere would have more time in taking care of the family because it makes laundry time much easier because of its revolutionary formula - ActivBleach that empowers moms to take on the tasks in removing the toughest stains minus the stress.

Breeze is safe for both white and colored clothes because of its four enzyme technology that removes those tough stains in just one wash.

I really enjoyed the event because I learned a lot from it. And I am so thankful now to Breeze because laundry time between me and my mom would surely be easy.

Check out Breeze on Facebook and on Twitter to know more of their online promos to get a chance to win a washing machine from its brand partners.

Much Love!

Bring it on September

Hello guys!

BER months have started and I know that with that being said most radio stations and establishments will start playing those Christmas songs that most people know.

Well here in the Philippines that is.

For me September is the start of the months where there are a lot of celebrations - Anniversaries, birthdays and even just partying till dawn.

There will be a lot in store as well in this page. For one there will be a HUGE giveaway in store for the ladies that read my blog.

I have finally got the mechanics done so expect it to be posted here and also on my other SNS within this week!

And lastly I don't want to say September please be nice to me but

September bring on the awesomeness!

Have an awesome September ahead guys!

Much Love!

xx Alice
