Atat Racing Team Partners with Fila Philippines

Riding a motor bike or a motorcycle is like a bad guy/ bad girl thing. Imagine riding the highway at a high speed with the wind blowing like as if you own it.

I've dream of being one, but not really achieving it because..well.. I'm overwhelmed with the feeling. With that being said I have high respects to those men and women that do it and also practice it as a sport.

Acupuncture: As Good as Western Medicine

Growing up I have experienced different kinds of practices to alleviate pain and also to make someone feel better.

From medicinal herbs to the traditional hilot - I've experienced it. One thing in particular that I have tried is acupuncture.

Photoescape Reviews: Saizen Make up

Hey lovelies!

I know I promised this blogpost about a couple of weeks ago but I really can't bring myself to say bad things about something. I really don't like saying bad things because I know it will haunt me but I guess its for the benefit of letting you guys know.. so here goes.

I had this powder for about half a year now and I was intending on using this on a prospective client but that didn't go well but still I tried this product on my face to see if it still works.

Its the Touch up Foundation from Saizen.

I like saizen. I buy almost everything there because it is cheap and affordable and also my mom likes buying things there that we can easily discard if we don't like it - and its really rare that we throw it out after a couple of days.

This powder didn't really have anything that says there but just that it is a foundation.

It came in a white container with a clear top so you can see the shade immediately. The first thing that came to my mind was - is it just me or is this powder has some glitter on it?

It doesn't have like chunks of glitter on it (on plain sight) so I still bought the product. Hey its only 66 pesos! no harm done.

And about the start of February I have started using this and at first it was good because the weather was just okay although it was a bit chilly. Then about third or fourth week of February the hot weather started kicking in thus my face start to oil up more.

I have combination-oily skin so I am starting to be a bit conscious on the product because I know that this has glitter and it might affect my skin.

By March, that is when disaster happened.

What I mean by disaster is the product hadn't worked well with me. I noticed that it didn't really seeped the oil on my face when I touch up. I can actually feel that there is a powder on top of my oily face even if I blotted it out first.

But still I kept going because I want to see how long it will last on me.

By about April or May I just gave up.

I gave up using it simply because it was not working out for me anymore. I noticed that after using this on my face I got some millia (whiteheads and blackheads) and also a pimple. At first, I thought that maybe it was my skin or my skin care routine since I've changed some products that I use on my face. Or maybe it was the weather and other things.

But no. It wasn't.

I do like this powder don't get me wrong. I like that its just nice texture although if you over apply it will look like you got some glitter specks on your face.

The price is awesome. Its just 66pesos! If you are on a budget it would definitely work out for you.

Shade variety and packaging isn't really a good one for me. The compact looked like a refill to be honest. The shades mostly vary from fair to olive skin. If you have a deeper skin color I don't think it will work out for you.

Overall I am very very disappointed with this product. I do have high hopes for other saizen make up products. I really do. I will be trying them out in a couple of months since I still have tons of product to go through so please do keep updated in this site.

Heal From Within in Thai Raksa Healing Spa

The daily grind and stress of working can take a toll on the body so for me I take lots of rest and a day to rest, relax and let my body heal.

Just like Thai Raksa's mantra healing is the process of re-establishing harmony within the individuals. When the body looses balance the reaction of it is we get sick.

During the old times when modern science hasn't been really used yet a lot of people turn to alternative medicine such as massage, acupuncture and the likes. I remember when I was a kid that whenever I get sick the first thing my mom does is massage me and true enough it makes me feel so much better.

I am really thankful to be able to try a more holistic way of regenerating and healing the body with Thai Raksa.

Unlike the regular day spa, Thai raksa is a healing spa because it gives the whole package of making you feel good inside and out. Because healing is a holistic process to cleanse the mind, body, and soul. This has been conceptualized in 2013 and has opened it doors to the public on June 28, 2013.

Thai Raksa offers a wide array of services from therapeutic, preventive, and curative treatment that fits each individual needs.

Besides from therapeutic massages, Thai Raksa also offers acupuncture and reiki. I will explain Reiki more in a while but lets start with the acupuncture.

Acupuncture is one of the 5 modals of healing in China. A 2000 year old practice that balances our body's chi. I have tried acupuncture before from a student of mine that visited the Philippines but since it costs a lot I opted not to do it anymore.

But in Thai Raksa they offer it for about a fraction of the cost. The service is about 1,000 pesos only. Really cheap right?

One of the bloggers actually opted for a body acupuncture while I opted for the 'facial' acupuncture. I know what you are thinking WTF right? But yes I would admit that it is scary at first but my overall experience was great because its not painful and it really relaxes the muscles.

Now lets go to Reiki or energy healing. This is actually a service that I have first heard of only in Thai Raksa. It is a service that makes you feel much better because your energy is what it focuses on. If you are going to try this make sure to drop by every Tuesday and Friday so Ms. Cathy can assist you more.

More than just the massage, I would really recommend Thai Raksa Healing Spa with their DOH-licensed and PALMT accredited therapists to get rid of those stress you have been feeling out from work and everything else.

Thai Raksa is located at 547 Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong city. Make sure to like their Facebook page for more information and promos!

Photoescape Reviews: Ever Bilena BB Cream.

Hey guys! I'm back with a review!

This time it will be for another BB cream!

I am still not over this trend so please forgive me.

Also a bit of a disclaimer: All things mentioned in this blog is from my personal experience. This was given to me by the brand to be reviewed but I was not influenced in anyway possible.

Ok let's begin my babies!

Just like other BB creams Ever Bilena's BB cream promises the same.

I have reviewed both on a video on my youtube channel. I will be highlighting only the anti wrinkle BB cream in this blog post.

This bb cream in particular has an ivory shade which fits my skin actually. Although oriental has a more natural fit on my skin it tends to be a little too light for my liking. Natural has more coverage for me which is what I like.

without flash

with flash
I noticed though that this BB cream instantly brightens my skin which is great. And with the price of 210php (or cheaper on some stores) you get TONS or product in the tube.

No make up mess :))
Okay so I am still using this product on a daily basis to see what effects it could give out to my skin and one thing is for sure - my face seems more even with this on.

With the BB Cream with flash.
I don't really prefer using this alone on a flash photo with it leaves a white cast. But I know topping it with powder makes workable in the long run.

 Without flash

Things I like about the product:

-immediately brightens my skin
- didn't break me out
- one application gives a little more coverage
- longevity is okay
- fits my skin well

Things I don't like about the product:

-has a white cast when you take flash photos
- if used longer without touching up it does make the skin oilier.

Verdict:

Great BB Cream to try! Its affordable and locally available. I like the formula although there is a white cast its ok for me.

Would I repurchase?

As of the moment I still have a lot of products with me to try to finish so I think I would not be repurchasing but once I've ran out of it for sure I will purchase one again.

Overall I think its a great BB cream to try especially if you have fair to morena skin.

Tell me what you think of this BB cream on the comments section below

Much Love!
