Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, Unitel and TV5 partner in first-of-its-kind television series, JasMINE

What comes to mind if you see a romantic drama series with suspense? Its confusing at first because the mix but once you see its outcome you would really appreciate it.

Just like the  TV series-within-a-TV series that revolves on Jasmine Curtis Smith (playing as a fictional version of herself).

One of TV5's most promising young actress and posed to be the on-screen partner of the network's hottest hunk actor, Alexis Vergara (played by Vin Abrenica). As she holds the lead role in the network's (fictional) flagship series Ur Loved.

Jasmine finds adversity from her co-actresses which exposes her to the bitter realities of being famous and in demand. And as if things can't get any worse, she acquires a stalker named Maskara who becomes the source of a series of unfortunate events to befall on her and also those around her.
Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, known for its award-winning advertising campaigns, is in-charge of the program's creative content, while Unitel Entertainment, a known and respected name in the field of commercial and film production, is the program's line producer for this one-of-a-kind and first in Philippine television.
JasMINE (the series) is also the first-ever TV series in the country that goes across digital platforms, boasts its second-screen feature that allows its audience to enjoy content both from their television and mobile screens. With this feature, viewers can follow JasMINE on-air and online, get access to relevant and exclusive content, and engage with the show and their fellow fans.

I was able to see what to expect from this series and I would say its really a must see since you will also be in the scene with the actress and the other characters of the series.
This is just the first in TV5's list of programs that can be enjoyed via multi-screen media as the network continues to evolve with the changing media landscape here in the Philippines

Make sure to catch JasMINE as it premieres this June 1, 9:15PM on TV5.

Budget friendly BB cream: EB Advance BB Cream!

I remember when I would anticipate going back to school..

The long lines to register my classes,

The sweltering heat of the day,

The not so pretty faces of the other students with their melted make up..

Ahhh good times, good times.

But with that being said I was actually surprised that the school year is about to begin again. And here is one product I would recommend for those that are on a budget: EB Advance BB Cream!

Being a student myself, I've experience being on a hurry, staying up late making that dreaded term paper and also caring less about what I look like in school sometimes. But if you think about it if you didn't really fix yourself a little bit it won't leave a great impressions to those that you want to.

Ever Bilena BB cream will help you with that! For the student on a tight budget this is perfect!

Priced at 195php it gives a very flawless finish to the face. It comes in 2 shades: Natural and Oriental. Natural in my opinion fits really fair skin. While Oriental fits medium to darker skin tones.

I will make a full on review about this product soon so make sure to check back here ok?

Good luck on your first day and Much Love!

Alice Seller’s Night a Roaring Success’s pre-launch event called the “Sellers’ Night” drew a huge crowd last Saturday evening as online sellers, bloggers and others in the web community joined the company’s officials and partners to celebrate the newest online marketplace based in the country at the Green Lounge Events Place at the BTTC Center in San Juan City, Philippines.

Nelson Liao, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of EasyShop Online Inc; Sam Gavino, web development head; and Jerry Pereda, marketing chief were present during the festivities and took turns in convincing the audience why EasyShop is the next big thing in the online buy-and-sell marketplace.

Also present were online bloggers numbering around a dozen, roughly 20-25 online plus other guests including supporters and partners of the fledgling company.

“The data as of May 16th is that we have 2,000 registered users in our website and around 5,000 products already posted,” proudly shared Liao during a roundtable with the bloggers.

The figures look promising indeed as the website’s official launch is still on June 15, 2014 but more importantly, Liao emphasized on the security of the site—using the phrase “scam-free” multiple times during interviews.

“Other online buy-and-sell sites, it’s just a platform; it is not engaged in the transactions of the buyer and seller so there are lots of scams or it’s open to potential scams. They open the platform and then leave the buyers and sellers to their business; that’s the problem they don’t have any sort of monitoring,” said Liao, a graduate of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in 2009.

“The main difference with us is that EasyShop is engaged with the transactions to assure that the money is secure. Unless the buyer has received the goods it’s only then that we release the money to the seller. On the other hand, sellers won’t have to worry about the payments since the money is already with EasyShop even before delivery.”

In between the discourse by the designated speakers for the night, prizes and freebies—from smartphones, tablets to a big screen LED TV-- were given away via a raffle for those who had signed-up in the website and attended the event.

Among the partners for the pre-launch event are SKK Mobile, Mogao BS Mobile, Michaela, CCK Mobile, Yousie and Epson. has a partnership with Nelsoft Technology, Inc. and PoziHongkong Technology Ltd.—two reliable software development entities that handles the website.

Post LAB Dance Concert event

Hey Guys!!

I should have done this post as soon as I can but because of my schedule I completely forgot!

And if ever any ADDLIB members or supporters read this please don't hate me I'm only human too, but at least I made the post right?

I am being unreasonable again I'm sorry.

So last May 11 I was really fortunate to watch the dance recital of ADDLIB's The LAB 3. This was actually the first recital they had and I am so thankful to see one of their first recitals ever~!

I've actually followed their dance sessions on Facebook and I've see a lot of potential in the participants. One of my friend is part of the workshop which really made me more proud.

Their recital was held at SM Skydome which is actually a great venue because it gives a great view of their performance at any angle. The sound also at Skydome is really nice.

The event was not just a recital but a dance concert of ADDLIB to showcase their #PHiersness

They also introduced the new wave of ADDLIB members. Which gave a phenomenal performance might I say.

This was actually one of the parts in the concert that I was surprised...they gave awards for the most improved / determined which went to.... My friend Jessie! So proud of you friend!!!

They also gave awards to those that have improved a lot on their respective classes such as Dancehall, Girlicious, Jazzfunk and such.

Miss Joe Abuda - Choreographer and the 'mastermind' behind ADDLIB and The LAB. He also teaches Advanced Hip hop in the workshop.

Calvin Metran: teacher/choreographer of Dancehall and Girlicious.

Rein Navarro: teacher/choreographer for ROCKLIB and also a Zumba instructor.

There was also another surprise at the end of the concert, 2 of the attendees - Mayumi Shimada and Macki Pineda were an automatic members of ADDLIB! It was really a surprise not just for those who were in the audience but also to these two fantastic dancers.

Skydome was really on full on dance mode with ADDLIB especially when they performed their winning piece from the recent HipHop International competition.

For those interested about ADDLIB's workshops make sure to check out their Facebook page, twitter and instagram.

I heard that they will be having a weekend edition of The LAB - I will definitely be there for sure!

Again thank you to ADDLIB for being one of the nicest, most accommodating and most talented dance groups here in the Philippines. I can't wait to see you win HHI in Las Vegas soon! *cross fingers and wish to the stars!*

Much Love!

No More Wires Braces! With Myobrace

I remember when I was in highschool, I had a classmate that wore braces because she had really crooked teeth. I also remembered when someone I know personally ran out of the dentists office when he saw the tools that will be used to give him braces. During that time there wasn't any options but thankfully now a days there is - Myobrace.

credits to!
Myobrack is basically a corrective dental treatment for kids ages 5-15 that was developed by the Myofunctional Research Clinic in Australia to be a holistic substitute to the traditional braces.
Dr. Urbi flew all the way from Davao to personally monitor the patients and to deliver a lecture to us

With Myobrace, Parents and children alike would not have to do through the process of having wires and metal in the kid's teeth because Myobrace is a customized rubber apparatus that can be worn about 8 hours a day! This is also to add comfort for the child since no one will know that he or she has braces!

Besides from that there is also trainings provided to correct any mouth breathing and eating habits that the child must have unconsciously acquired.

Dr. Urbi personally flies to and from Davao to monitor his patients and also travels to different parts of the country and Asia to give out lectures about Myobrace.

Thankfully my mom did her research to teach me how to breath my nose when I was younger but I swear I want to try wearing a Myobrace!

Ricky Reyes Meets Miss Earth Philippines Candidates

So many back logs! goodness!

But its better late than never right? Okay so here goes.

I was really honored to attend this event by one of the institutions of beauty in the Philippines.

I grew up with a mother that does make up to a lot of women on a daily basis. The sheer thought of meeting one of the people that my mom looks up is really an opportunity of a lifetime.

Mader Ricky thought of this event as a way of a personally teaching the candidates ways to know how to look beautiful even without a stylist.

Here are some of the tips that I've remembered.

TIP #1 NEVER leave the house without make up and stilettos.

This one is pretty basic because as a beauty queen you really do have to looked all made up all the time. I think that this is purely as a basis to know that you can be beautiful anytime of the day.

TIP #2 The hair and dress should also sway.

Natural flowy hair that sways with the hair is beautiful - The 'walis tambo' hair doesn't look nice in any angle.

TIP #3 Nothing compares to beautiful skin.

This tip is really something that I can say is the most important. You may have the most expensive make up out there but if your skin doesn't look 100% Okay it doesn't matter.

Besides from the myriad of tips there was also a challenge given my Mader Ricky to the candidates - They have to do their make up ala beauty queen.

In that challenge, Those that who won were given packages of make up and money.

I really enjoyed the event because it was like I was in an all in one event! Thank you so much Mader Ricky for the opportunity!

And Congratulations to the Ms. Earth Philippines!

Much Love!

Bangong Palmolive, Check! Hair That Smells Great All Day Every Day!

Usually I spend about 10 hours outside of the house everyday - From commuting to and from work, attending events and other things like a night out to unwind. All these activities take a toll on us over time – from unhealthy bodies and bad skin due to stress, to an unwelcome strain on the crowning glory: Our hair.

Our Hair not only becomes limp and dull throughout the day, it can also absorb the various odors encountered with every activity.

I take pride in my hair to the point that I painstakingly check every waking moment if my hair looks and also smells good. While mornings have the best fragrant hair moments straight from the shower, most of the worrying start the day progresses.

By noon, the hustle and the bustle becomes an assault on the hair, leaving it even more lifeless and without fragrance. This is why it’s important to use products that keep hair smelling and looking fresh 24/7 - from the moment you leave home to the time you arrive for your date, or night out with the girls.

Fragrant hair is often associated with beauty. When a girl’s hair is fragrant, they have the confidence to face all their activities day to night. I know you agree with no longer having to worry about how our hair smells and we can be the best versions of themselves all day long. Like a natural perfume, the fragrance of a girl’s hair leaves a lasting impression on anyone she encounters, making it one of her most important assets.

With that Palmolive Naturals Shampoo & Conditioner is perfect for girls with busy lifestyles to help keep their hair fragrant and full of life, whatever time of day. The distinct Bangong Palmolive scent wraps hair all day, giving girls the confidence to check off all their activities from morning until night with hair that’s bangong nakaka-wow! Palmolive Naturals Shampoo & Conditioner has long been known for its fragrance, one of the reasons why girls have trusted it for many years now.

Actress Carla Abellana agrees, “With Palmolive, my hair really is bangong nakaka-wow! Location shoots no longer bother me, I can go from one place to another without worrying about my hair because with Palmolive, I know it is well taken care of!”

Palmolive Naturals Shampoo & Conditioner has long been a girl’s partner in maintaining beautiful hair, and also wraps hair with fragrance that lasts all day long.  So wherever you are, whatever you do, make sure that your hair smells great. Bangong Palmolive? Check!

Much Love!

Matching your lipstick with your outfit featuring Ever Bilena Shade Lipsticks.

Hello ladies!

Do you ever have that time that you don't know what to do with your make up so it matches your outfit?

Here are some tips I could give out.

I'll be using Ever Bilena's Shade lipstick as an example to these looks ok?

Lets start with a simple look with a pop of color. With this kind of outfit I would suggest go with a pink lipstick like Rosy Mirage or Pink temptress and an over all clean no-make up like look. This gives the look a very clean yet stricking image. Also It doesn't have too much impact to the face.

If you have a penchant for monochromatic looks like this one I suggest go for a pop of color. Use a bright red or an orange red lipstick to make the face stand out. Try Red Vixen or Foxy Garnet to give your make up a pop of color.

One thing I like about Ever Bilena's shade lipstick is they have a great selection of colors that can also be great for summer!

Don't be afraid to experiment your looks because we are only young once so make the most out of it. Also Ever Bilena shade lipsticks are just perfect for that! Make sure to drop by to any department store to check these lippies out.

Much Love and happy weekend!!

Self harm +Selfie - Why do they do it?

Hey guys!

I don't really post anything of this kind in a long time because..well I don't know exactly but when something makes me cringe that I just have to write it down before I would puke.

Yes guys I'm serious.

I found this picture on my Facebook news feed. One of my acquaintances slashed her wrists and decided to take a picture of it. Here is just the only question that came to my mind:

I was also a teenager. I also went through the phase of being overly emotional about things - especially about love. I admit that I have thought to slashing my wrists too and also committing suicide but I thought about it and the only thing that came to my mind is how stupid of an idea it would be.

Self harm is not just a phase - that means something is wrong with that person. Taking a picture of it is just a whole other problem that needs to be addressed.

I am not a psychology major - I am a MassComm/ Communications graduate yet I know these because I have clinical depression and I've had thoughts about jumping off buildings and also slashing my wrists but thankfully my inner voice got me out of it.

There is also another picture that circulated in the internet about another teen slashing her wrists and took a selfie out of it. In that picture the girl looks like she is lamenting about a lost relationship. I didn't read through the whole article because I was so disgusted by the girl. No offense but I am.

I think this acquaintance of mine is slashing her wrist to vent out all the anger she has yet she took a picture to gain attention from it - maybe only for one person or for a whole bunch of people.

Its like how haters visit your site and leave hateful comments. They hate you because you have something they don't have - Attention from other people.

If ever this acquaintance of mine read this I just have one thing to say to her: STOP IT.

Hurting yourself would not get you anywhere. You may get that attention momentarily but that fades away faster than that slash in your wrists. Go talk to someone than hurt yourself - that is a much safer way to heal.

See you on my next post!

xx Alice

My Summer Blushes Choices - Careline Oil Control Blush on

Due to the sweltering (NAKS! Big Word!) heat of the sun nowadays most of the time I wear little to now make up.

LIKE SERIOUSLY who would wear a whole layer of make up if you would be out in the sun? I wouldn't!

But still I want to look good in which I only have 3 things in my bag that I can live by:

 Powder, Blush, and lipstick.

One of the things that are most important to me is blush-because I look like a ghost without one. I have been told myriads of times these lines

"nakainom ka ng suka no?"
"anyare teh nakakita lang ng multo?"
"may anemia ka ata friend."

That is why I always keep a blush on in my bag just in case I am looking ghostly as ever.

The blush that I do keep in my bag at all times is Careline's Oil control blush on. The reason why is because it keeps the oil at bay when the weather makes my face oilier than ever.

Careline's Oil control blush on has a variety of shades that suits every Filipina skin tone.

If you ask me what shade fits really fair skin I would suggest Charming Pink, Pinkish blush, touch of pink and peach glow.

For those that has a darker skin tone you can go with Peach glow, rosy cheek, fresh tomato and starlight shine.

If you think the colors are quite too much for morena skin it actually is not! My friend likes to use starlight shine as a contour and fresh tomato as her blush and it looks really natural on her.
The formulation of Careline's blushes are really like pressed powder but still be careful in applying them so you won't look like you've been slapped. Kidding!

They are also really cheap! They are about 80php each so it fits in the budget of every Pinay teen!

What's your Summer make up blush?

Make sure to share it below on the comments section!

Much Love!
